Junction 59 Classic Cars & Restorations Limited is delighted to be able to offer for sale such a beautiful classic as this Austin Healey 3000 Mark III.
Adding to its appeal is the very rare colour scheme, being 1 of only 500 in this striking Golden Beige. Several features have been written of late on the rareness and collectability of these cars e.g. The British Healey Magazine (Rev Counter).
This car was delivered to the original owners Mr & Mrs Robert & Rita Ward on 13th September 1967, therefore making it one of the last Healeys built. During its life the car has stayed with the original owner in Florida until it was purchased by the current owner on 13th August 1992, it was then repatriated into the UK on 8th September 1992 and has been with the current owner for the last 25 years. The car was converted to right hand drive 23 years ago by a local restoration specialist.
The car has wanted for nothing in its lifetime, it has a lovely patina with original seats, looks fantastic & drives as it should with all the typical big Healey trades.
This model is the most desirable and collectible with its relative ease of use i.e. wind-up windows, overdrive, pull-up hood, wrap around laminated windscreen, adjustable steering column and the lovely wooden dash. Coupled with the super rare colour scheme, makes it a must-have for any Healey enthusiast. Included in the sale is the drivers hand book, British Motor Heritage Certificate, Full Tonneau, Half Tonneau (hood cover), original jack and associated history etc.
A true investment Healey.
